Reddit Tech Salary Sheet
An open source of data for tech salaries to be used by everyone for better negotiating leverage. The more you know, the more power you have.

Many of the questions are required to try to ensure a high quality of data - but most of the questions are multiple choice. The goal is for this form to take less than 3 minutes.

Your email address will not be collected in the backing Google Spreadsheet, but you are required to sign in to a Google account to ensure 1 entry per respondent. Data is summarized in charts at the end of the questionnaire or available in raw form here:

Company Name
Company Size - # Employees *
Primary Location (Country) *
The country to which your employment contract (or primary work) applies.
Primary Location (City)
The city in which your employment contract (or primary work) applies. Feel free to leave this blank.
Industry in Company *
Many companies span more than 1 industry, e.g. someone working at Google may design GPUs or write HTML - try to pick the industry of the organization in the company that your primary work supports. New options will be added to the list as they are identified.
Public or Private Company *
A public company is one traded on a stock exchange, has share holders, etc... A private company is not traded on a stock exchange. Non-profits are usually explicitly classified as such in their country of origin. Academia would be an educational institution. N/A if none of the others apply
