Come get reacquainted with GLOBE protocols, mobile Apps, and get involved in NASA Mission Data Collection – SMAP, Calypso, etc.

•
connections to students, teachers, scientists and other citizens from 121 countries who conduct real, hands-on
science in their communities
•
grade level-appropriate, interdisciplinary activities and investigations aligned to national and state educational
standards easily integrated with curriculum
•
scientific topics that vary in complexity, relating to the atmosphere, biosphere, hydrosphere, pedosphere, and Earth as
a System
•
an accessible platform for teaching hands-on science, inquiry, observation and data collection
•
practices of science including data analysis, critical thinking, collaboration and communication
•
a springboard into research for science fair projects, afterschool activities, and honors projects
•
opportunities to collect and report data in conjunction with current, ongoing NASA missions
Each participant will receive:

Break snacks and lunch
•
5 hours of ADE-certified PD
