Programme Highlights:
The visit will include museum tour which showcases various display models of reactors, fuel assemblies, and the Daya Bay site, providing an immersive experience to understand nuclear power generation. Following the tour, a briefing on the safe operation and nuclear power generation at Daya Bay will be conducted. This visit aims to enhance participants' knowledge about various aspects of nuclear power generation and its safe operation at the Daya Bay facility, fostering a better understanding among the attendees.
Registration and Enquiries:
The number of participants will be limited to 40 and applicants will be served on a first-come-first-serve basis. Priority will be given to the members of Nuclear Division. Valid travel documents for entering into Shenzhen will be required. Please submit online application through

Successful applicants will be charged a non-refundable amount of HK$100 each to cover the administration of the visit and will be notified by email or telephone. Upon acceptance of the applications, the participants will be required to submit personal information on their travel documents for processing the entry into the power site premises. Please be reminded to bring along with valid travel documents and HKIE membership card on the day for verification.
