ARCHIVING MERIP PROJECT
The Middle East Research and Information Project (MERIP) was established in 1971 to educate and inform the public about contemporary Middle East affairs. As MERIP turns 50, we are seeking to collect reflections and memories about MERIP as both an "information project" as well as a community.

We will be publishing a selection of these submissions as part of Middle East Report No. 300 "MERIP @ 50" to be published in late October 2021(online at MERIP.org) as well as setting up an archive of all responses.

Feel free to reply to only the questions of interest and write as much, or as little, as you wish. If you have more to add later, you can make additional submissions at https://forms.gle/kSiQreW5WqH2mxWX9. Also, you are welcome to encourage others you know to submit as well.

In late August 2021 we will prepare essays that draw from these submissions for Middle East Report issue No. 300 but welcome submissions after that date at anytime to be catalogued as part of our effort to document MERIP history.

If you wish you can download and search past tables of contents with editors lists at https://alabama.box.com/s/dbx5tdik9hach42oszrgl6tnk8s9q1lv. You can search for articles from 1980 on at https://merip.org/search/
