Girls Rock Philly Summer Camp is a week-long in-person music education program for young folks ages 8 to 18 in the Philly area. We center an intergenerational community of girls, women, trans and gender expansive people. Campers learn to play an instrument, form a band, write an original song, and perform it at a big concert!
Youth Session: 8-12 years old; Teen Session: 13-19 years old
When: Monday - Friday, July 10th - July 14th | 8:30am - 5:00pm
*Showcase Day: July 15th @ The Rotunda
*Recording Day: July 16th @ TBA
Where: KIPP Philadelphia Preparatory Academy, 2539 N. 16th Street Philadelphia, PA 19132
Who: GRP is open to girls and trans and gender expansive youth ages 8 - 18.

**If you are new to the GRP Community, one of our staff members will reach out to you for an introductory 15-30 minute call before you are placed into a role. These calls are a chance for you to ask us questions and for us to get to know you!**
**FOR NEW AND RETURNING VOLUNTEERS: Placement of our volunteers into roles is a gigantic puzzle that takes many different factors into account. We are an organization that committed to uplifting the leadership of people with marginalized identities through intergenerational learning, and thank you for your understanding and patience with our process. We invite feedback and dialogue about camp roles and volunteer placement.
