WBU Barrie and Newmarket Event Registration: Make a Hummingbird Swing Workshop
Description: Join Wild Birds Unlimited Barrie and Wild Birds Unlimited Newmarket to create a fun accessory for your hummingbirds. Hummingbirds love to stop and perch in between visits to a feeder.  They tend to visit the same perch over and over again and also use their perch to guard "their feeder" from other hummingbirds in the area. Offering a hummingbird swing close to a feeder gives the hummingbirds a place to rest between sips and monitor activity from other birds in their territory. Each participant will be taking home a decorative hummingbird swing they will make during the workshop. You will be provided with everything you need to create an adorable hummingbird swing.  Each workshop will be limited to 12 participants. 

Deadline for registration is Monday May 13, 2024. To ensure we have enough supplies we unfortunately can not accommodate any registrations after this date.

  1. Tuesday May 21, 2024 at 6:30 pm at WBU Newmarket (16655 Yonge Street, Unit 2, Newmarket, ON) 
  2. Wednesday May 22, 2024 at 6:30 pm at WBU Barrie (515 Bryne Drive, Unit B, Barrie, ON)
Cost: $25.99 + HST per person (each person is REQUIRED to complete their own registration form)
