SAINT GEORGE GREEK SCHOOL IS OFFERING GREEK LANGUAGE AND CONVERSATION CLASSES FOR STUDENTS PRE-K – 8TH GRADE.
Start date:
Orientation: Thursday, September 28, 2023, from 5:15-6:30 PM.
First full Day of Classes: Thursday, October 5 2023, from 4:30-6:30 PM.

There are two options for Students Pre-K - 8th Grade.

Option 1: In Person Only: Thursday 4:30-6:30 PM. Two hours once a week - $600 per year.
Classes will be held in person in the St. George Hellenic Center Classrooms, 510 Liberty St., Schenectady, NY 12305.
Curriculum includes Modern Greek Language, Grammar & Conversation, Greek Dance and Culture.
Online child friendly platform is included in the program.
Student Schedule:
45 min Language
15 min Conversation
30 min Culture/History/rehearsal for plays
30 min Greek Dance

Option 2: Online Only: Wednesday evenings. One hour once a week - $400 per year.
Classes will be offered fully online via in person Zoom sessions with an experienced certified teacher.
Curriculum includes Modern Greek Language, Grammar & Conversation.
Online child friendly platform is included in the program.
Student Schedule:
45 min Language
15 min Conversation

• Students are placed in levels in accordance with their knowledge of the Greek Language rather than grades according to their age.

TEENS & ADULTS PROGRAM

We are also offering Greek Language and Conversation classes for teens and adults ages 13 and up.

Depending on the skills of the students, we have expanded the class to 3 levels.

Classes will be held via Zoom every Wednesday. There will be 3 levels, beginner, intermediate, and advanced. Each session will run for one hour. Times and Start date: Wednesday, September 6, 2023 5:00 - 8:00 PM.
