All Entries MUST be brought with an entry form to the Oxnard Historic Farm Park (1251 Gottfried Pl, Oxnard, CA 93030) between 12:00pm and 1:00pm on October 8th, 2022.Scarecrows must be left on site through the event.
We strongly encourage and request that you display your scarecrow on site with us through Saturday, October 22nd 2022.
Any scarecrows left at the farm after 12:00pm on Saturday October 22nd, 2022 become property of the Oxnard Historic Farm Park Foundation. Scarecrows may be picked up at the end of the event or between 9:00am and 12:00pm on Tuesday October 11th, Saturday October 15th, Tuesday October 18th, or Saturday October 22nd, 2022.Judging begins at 2:00pm on October 8th, 2022 and winners will be announced at 4:00pm that day.
Scarecrows must be family-friendly and we reserve the right to refuse or disqualify any entry for any reason (for example: if a scarecrow is inappropriate for this family-friendly event and space).

While a scarecrow is necessary for entry, NO PURCHASE NECESSARY TO ENTER OR WIN. A PURCHASE DOES NOT INCREASE THE CHANCES OF WINNING. All entrants will be given 1 free admittance to the Oktoberfest Event!
All Entrants must be over 18 and legal residents of the United States to enter. Any entrant under 18 must be sponsored by a qualified parent or guardian and that guardian shall assume all responsibility and shall be the official entrant on their behalf. The Oxnard Historic Farm Park Foundation, Inc. is not liable for any damage to nor theft of Scarecrows. Winners may be required to provide proof of eligibility.
All Entrants agree to a media release. Entrants agree to the Oxnard Historic Farm Park Foundation, Inc. using images, videos, likenesses, and other media of their scarecrow entries and of themselves, their name, company name (if provided), city, scarecrow name, scarecrow motto, biographies, statements, and other similar materials for marketing, promotional, or publicity purposes without compensation or any limitation. Entrants also agree to the disclosure of their name, company name (if provided), phone, email, city, scarecrow name, and scarecrow motto to any prize donors and agree to the same media release uses by those prize donors. Parents or Guardians sponsoring a minor are likewise providing media release for the minor they are sponsoring.
Entrants agree to hold harmless the Oxnard Historic Farm Park Foundation, Inc., its affiliates, and all of its respective officers, directors, employees, contractors, representatives, volunteers, and agents from any and all liabilities and injuries, losses or damages of any kind to persons, including death, or property resulting in whole or in part, directly or indirectly, from this contest, any prize won, or in any contest-related activity.
While not required, please select "Scarecrow Entrant" ticket if you plan on submitting an entry to help us prepare for the number of anticipated attendees and entries.
