▧ Nicolas Sauvage, President at TDK Ventures

Nicolas Sauvage is president of TDK Ventures, the Corporate VC arm ($200M AUM) of TDK Corporation, a Japan-headquartered electronics manufacturer. He started TDK Ventures to invest in – and serve – early-stage innovative startups to bolster innovations in Digital Transformation (DX), Energy & Environmental Transformation (EX) that will improve and sometimes save people's lives. TDK Ventures invests globally in Seed to B-round startups that leverage fundamental material science to unlock an attractive and sustainable future for the world. Ken Forster is a Digital Industry veteran, having built ‘connected’ products, services and businesses in the manufacturing, retail, consumer goods and agriculture sectors for over 30 years. An early leader in open architecture control systems, Ken’s early work includes Lockheed’s ‘Factory of the Future’. He subsequently joined Wonderware, and later cofounded ObjectAutomation, before taking senior technology leadership roles at Syngenta, Coca-Cola and Philip Morris.

In 2012, Ken founded Momenta, the leading Digital Industry venture capital firm accelerating deeptech innovators across energy, manufacturing, smart spaces, and supply chain. For nearly a decade, Momenta’s team of deep industry operators have helped scale industry innovators, deploying their capital alongside their award-winning executive search and strategic advisory.

Elisa Chiu is an entrepreneur who operates at the intersection of innovation, investment and cross-border collaboration. She sailed from Wall Street with a decade of experience at top tier investment banks and hedge funds, overseeing US$1 billion+ in APAC.
