School/CE Teacher Application Form
The Project "1+1 Synergy for Democratic Culture" aims to strengthen the democratic culture at schools - referring to the Framework "Competences for Democratic Culture" developed by the Council of Europe.
Civic Education Teacher, as Civic Club Coordinators, team up with external Youth Worker in order to share professional experience, teaching skills and promote elements of non-formal education in the formal school sector. Therefore the project contributes to the professional development of all participants and encourages them to implement and apply their newly gained skills in their daily work at school through youth-led activities and awareness-raising campaigns.

The mobility activities of the project "1+1 Synergy for Democratic Culture" involve not only Civic Education Teacher and Youth Worker (international Job-Shadowing and international Training Courses), but also, school administration and school principals (Study-Visit in Spain) and school students (Youth Exchange in the Czech Republic).

All selected schools and participating in Civic Education teachers should be willing:
- to improve the democratic culture at their schools
- to integrate elements of non-formal education in their daily work
- to cooperate with external youth workers
- to actively engage in all national/international mobility activities

1. School Principals and School Administration:
- Study Visit in Spain (November 2020 - 6 days)
- Final Conference in Georgia (February 2021 - 4 days)

2. Civic Education Teacher:
- Training Course in Georgia (07.-13.03.2020 - 6 days)
- Job Shadowing in Czech Republic/Norway/Spain (April-May - 7 days)
- Seminar in Norway (June 2020 - 6 days)
- Training Course in the Czech Republic (September 2020 - 7 days)
- Final Conference in Georgia (February 2021 - 4 days)

Between the various Training Courses and Seminars, the Civic Education teachers implement in tandems with partnering Youth Workers school projects, youth-led activities and participate in awareness-raising campaigns about Democratic Culture at school.

We encourage all applying Schools and Civic Education teachers to share this call for application (https://forms.gle/KGBvsjy3jJ8vzd2a7) with cooperating Youth Workers, in order to form already the participating tandems of Civic Education Teacher and Youth Worker.
