Application Form for Youth Workers
The Project "1+1 Synergy for Democratic Culture" aims to strengthen the democratic culture at schools - referring to the Framework "Competences for Democratic Culture" developed by the Council of Europe.
Youth Workers team up with Civic Education teachers, who are coordinating Civic Clubs at their schools, in order to share professional experience, teaching skills and promote elements of non-formal education in the formal school sector. Therefore the project contributes to the professional development of all participants and encourages them to implement and apply their newly gained skills in their daily work at school through youth-led activities and awareness-raising campaigns.

The mobility activities of the project "1+1 Synergy for Democratic Culture" involve not only Youth Worker and Civic Education teachers (international Job-Shadowing and international Training Courses), but also, school administration and school principals (Study-Visit in Spain) and school students (Youth Exchange in the Czech Republic).

All selected Youth Workers should be willing:
- to contribute to the democratic culture at schools
- to share their knowledge of non-formal education with Civic Education teachers
- to cooperate with Civic Education teachers on a weekly basis
- to actively engage in all national/international mobility activities:

1. Training Course in Georgia (07.-13.03.2020 - 6 days)
2. Job Shadowing in the Czech Republic/Norway/Spain (April-May - 7 days)
3. Seminar in Norway (June 2020 - 6 days)
4. Training Course in the Czech Republic (September 2020 - 7 days)
5. Final Conference in Georgia (February 2021 - 4 days)

Between the various Training Courses and Seminars, the Youth Workers implement in tandems with Civic Education teachers school projects, youth-led activities and participate in awareness-raising campaigns about Democratic Culture at school.

We encourage all applying Youth Workers to share this call for application (https://forms.gle/pTvQMQFywqU7yv75A) with cooperating Schools and Civic Education teachers, in order to form already the participating tandems of Civic Education Teacher and Youth Worker.
