INSTRUCTIONS (read thoroughly before completing this application)
Apply to use the emergency fund at Champlain College by completing this form. Be sure to provide the story behind your financial emergency. 

The Student Resources Office will reach out to you directly within 72 business hours to follow up on your application. If you need assistance that cannot wait, please email the Student Resources Coordinator directly at studentresources@champlain.edu or call (802) 860-2723 after completing this form. 

The Office of Financial Aid (OFA) and other members of the Angel Fund team will be consulted in order to determine eligibility for emergency financial and other basic needs support.

The Angel Fund and other basic needs support services are available for currently enrolled undergraduate students attending classes in person at our Burlington, Vermont campus.

Apply for a Textbook Rental Scholarship using this form.

Complete this form to request a Bookstore Voucher from Compass. A bookstore voucher takes an advance from your student loans and is not free assistance.

For both applications, you will need to go to the bookstore website and add all the materials you need to your cart to request the appropriate amount of funds. The amount after tax and shipping (if needed) is the amount you should enter in the advance request form.

The Angel Fund is rarely able to cover the entire cost of a new laptop however the Student Resources Office will work with you to identify additional grants, loans or other sources of in kind funds.
