This scholarship is available to students from any of the Marianist high schools and students from non-Marianist Schools who attended the Marianist LIFE South, Central, or Pacific programs. Students from international Marianist schools may apply but are not guaranteed acceptance into the program.  

Applicants must be graduating high school seniors, applying for acceptance into the program for their first year at the University of Dayton.  Please submit all the information requested via this form which includes your contact information and high school accomplishments and involvement.  The application also includes a 300 word personal essay to address the prompt:

                 “Explain how your faith has been shaped by the Marianist Charism and
                   why you want to continue your education in the Marianist tradition.”

This essay should help us evaluate the impact of your Marianist education and envision your involvement in a comprehensive faith, leadership, and service program during college.

We suggest completing the essay offline, and then inserting the information into the online application in one sitting.  Once the application is submitted, you will not be able to make changes.

You will need to request two recommendations.  One must be from a teacher, administrator, counselor or coach at your high school.  The second must come from someone representing a community, parish, or school organization where you have led or served.  Please ask those who are submitting a recommendation to use the Marianist Leadership Scholars Recommendation Form from our website.  

The priority deadline is November 15, 2022 and applications will continue to be reviewed on a rolling basis.
