PAGE 28 och Inkonst söker queera poeter och musiker som vill utforska sitt konstnärskap genom att skapa tillsammans. Är du nyfiken på vad som skulle kunna hända om dina ord fick tolkas av en musiker? Vill du se dina kompositioner i litterär skrud? Kollision är projektet för dig som är redo att utvecklas och samskapa med en annan queer konstnär som verkar i ett annat medium än du. Vad händer när ord förvandlas till toner och ljudlandskap? När musik kokas ner till några få ord i en dikt? Och viktigast av allt - vad kan ni skapa tillsammans utifrån det ni redan har i bagaget?

I Kollision möts en musiker och en poet i en arbetsprocess i form av ett residens på Inkonst i Malmö där ni får arbeta tillsammans under fyra dagar, för att sedan avsluta med att möta publiken; framföra resultatet av samarbetet och intervjuas om er arbetsprocess. Målet är att ni ska skapa tillsammans och hitta nya former för era konstnärskap. Kollision drivs av Inkonst och PAGE 28 i Malmö. Med projektet vill vi särskilt lyfta fram queera poeter och musiker i början av sin karriär som har både vana av och intresse för scenframträdanden och improvisation.

PAGE 28 and Inkonst are looking for queer poets and musicians who want to explore their artistry through collaborating and working together. Are you curious as to what would happen if your words were interpreted by a musician? Would you like to see your compositions in literary form? Kollision is for you who are ready to develop and co-create with another queer artist who works in a different art form than you. What happens when words transform into tones and soundscapes? When music is condensed to a short poem? And most importantly - what can you create together based on what you already bring into the project? 

In Kollision, one poet and one musician meet to work together in the form of a four day long residency at Inkonst in Malmö, and then finish the project by meeting an audience and performing the result of your collaboration and talking about your creative process. The goal is to create something together and to find new forms for your own artistry. Kollision is run by Inkonst and PAGE 28 in Malmö. With this project we especially want to highlight queer poets and musicians in the beginning of their career who both have experience of and interest in performing on stage and improvising.
