Application: Book Award Submission Fee Waiver
Use this form to apply for a submission fee waiver to the 2020 LCP Book awards.

Please submit your book award submission form in full before applying for a fee waiver; they will be processed at the same time. You can submit for the book awards here: https://forms.gle/euPii4mB3FRRNoRf9

The League is offering two kinds of financial relief for book award submission fees in 2020:

1. A FEE REDUCTION reduces the submission fee from $25 per award to $25 per book (for example, if a book were submitted to all three awards, the submission fee is $75; with a fee reduction, it is only $25)
2. A FEE WAIVER is available for books authored by writers who self-identify as part of a Canada Council equity-seeking group (Deaf/Disabled, Indigenous, racialized/culturally diverse) and/or LGBTQI2SA.

You may apply for either or both kinds of financial relief.

The League of Canadian Poets understands that COVID-19 has created unprecedented difficulties for poetry publishers in 2020, and we want to ensure that all eligible authors are able to have their books considered for our awards.
