Researchers from CSR related fields from all world will match up to discuss how does responsible management education can aid the reshaping of the post-crisis COVID-19 context. Are Business Schools in another legitimacy crossroads like the one followed by the 2008 crisis? How can we future-proof business students' curriculum for a world that has been intensively changing in the last few months? How do we avoid decoupling in business education? How can we foster meaningful environments for our yet to be leaderships develop the competencies for paradigm change?

This and other questions will be addressed in a perspective of the management school's role in the shaping of a world which is only 10 years away from the 2030 agenda deadline and will experience a strong aftershock in the coming years.

The talkings will have the presence of Danica Purg, founder and president of IEDC-Bled School of Management and CEEMAN, Lara Liboni, CSR researcher from Ivey Business School and University of Sao Paulo, Nikodemus Solitander, Director of CSR center and PRME Office at Hanken's Business School,  Ivan Jovetic Lecturer at UDG and high commissioner of the WBAF. Mediation of the event will be made by the University of Sao Paulo post-graduation student, Flavio Martins.

The event will occur on 29th September, at 03 PM (CEST/UTC +3) / 10 AM (BRT/UTC -3), with no more than 2 hours of duration. After the individual expositions, the panelists will answers questions from the public.

About the speakers:

Danica Purg is the founding and current President of the IEDC-Bled School of Management, Slovenia, and the founding President of the Central and East European Management Development Association (CEEMAN), which has 211 members from 53 countries and whose aim is to enhance management development in Central and Eastern Europe. She is also chairperson and director of the European Leadership Centre (ELC), established with the aim of assessing and promoting European leadership through the organization of forums, workshops and research. Purg is professor of leadership and effective management at the IEDC-Bled School of Management. Her special field of interest is looking for inspirations for managers from art and other professions.
Purg is Fellow of the International Academy of Management, Doctor Honoris Causa at Moscow State University of Management and Estonian Business School, and honorary professor at Moscow International Higher Business School (MIRBIS). President of the Republic of Slovenia awarded her with the “Honorary Order of Freedom” for her contribution to management development in Slovenia and CEE.
Purg is also member of several advisory boards, among them of the Advisory Board of Women’s Forum for the Economy and Society, Advisory Board of BAWB (Business as an Agent of World Benefit Global Forum) and Advisory Board of the newly established Moscow School of Management SKOLKOVO. Purg is also Member of the exclusive European Cultural Parliament (ECP) - a forum for outstanding artists, thinkers and other cultural personalities from all Europe. Recently she was invited to become a member of the UN Global Compact Taskforce to develop the principles for Responsible Business Education and in 2007 she became President of UN Global Compact Slovenia.

Lara Liboni co-chairs the Latin American Society for Systems and Sustainability  (Latin2s).  Nowadays she is pursuing her postdoc at Ivey Business School, University of Western Ontario (UWO), and she is a Full-time Professor at Ribeirão Preto School of Economics, Administration, and Accounting at the University of São Paulo (FEARP/USP).  She is one of the Brazilian coordinators of Golden for Sustainability, in partnership with the Luigi Bocconi University (Milan - Italy) and coordinates the Center on Innovation, Systems, and Sustainability at  FEARP/USP and participates in the Center for Low Carbon Economics (NEB) at USP and Internationalization Research group at FEARP.

Nikodemus Solitander has extensive experience in research and lecturing in Corporate responsibility; human rights and business, financialization; sustainable development; business ethics, economic geography; RMG sector (ready made garment sector); design industry; and creativity. In addition to working as a researcher and lecturer in Supply Chain Management and Social Responsibility at Hanken School of Economics, he coordinates Hanken's study module in Corporate Responsibility, as well the implementation of UN's Principles of Responsible Management Education at Hanken; I am also one of the founders of the Research Group on Corporate Responsibility, Ethics & Management Education (CREME) at Hanken, and the international CR3+ conference.  

Ivan Jovetic is lecturer at the UDG-Faculty for International Economy, Finance and Business. Ivan is co-founder of MSI INVEST Llc where he acted as the executive director. Since 2005 he has been researcher and analyst at the ISSP leading numerous national, international, and transnational projects (including ones for European Commission, UNDP, UNIDO, MED program, DTP, US administration departments and etc) .Ivan Jovetic is a member of the WBAF-World Business Angels Investment Forum where he has been appointed as the High Commissioner for Montenegro, faculty member of the WBAF Business School (Department for Entrepreneurship),

Flavio Martins is a researcher in innovation and sustainability at the School of Economics, Business administration and Accounting of Ribeirão Preto, University of Sao Paulo (FEA-RP/USP), he is a researcher at the Latin American Society of Systems and Sustainability (Latin2s) and a member of the UN-PRME local office at the FEA-RP/USP.  Flavio is also the manager for science diffusion in the Center of Specialized Research, Innovation, and Diffusion (CRID-FMRP/USP) from the University of Sao Paulo. Research interests are the 2030 agenda, interdisciplinarity, responsible management education, and science literacy/diffusion in service-learning education.
