Sea To Sky ITA Professional Cook Program - EMPLOYER Survey
The Whistler Learning Centre, Vancouver Community College, BCIT and Ts’zil Learning Centre are partnering to measure demand for delivery of a local ITA Professional Cook Program. The ITA Professional Cook Program prepares learners for employment in the food industry. Learn about the ITA Professional Cook Program click here: https://drive.google.com/file/d/1C97m6isCRRg07t-yVSFQqPkx6tnfKoxH/view?usp=sharing

Why look at local delivery of the program? There are a shortage of cooks in the Sea to Sky region and the existing training is currently only offered in the lower mainland which adds the expense of travel, accommodation, and missed work for local residents.

There are 2 surveys as part of this research, one for prospective students of the program, and one for local employers of Cooks.

THIS SURVEY IS FOR EMPLOYERS OF COOKS who work in the food industry in the Sea to Sky region. If you are an employer please complete the questions below. Your feedback will help us understand the culinary training needs of the local workforce.

IF YOU ARE A PROSPECTIVE STUDENT who is considering a career in the food industry, please complete the survey for future students here: https://forms.gle/AN8334JSDJgQWR996
