The Intersection: Academic Multicultural Resource Center & CSUN have teamed up to provide funding for non-citizen UNLV
undergraduate students' in order to cover fees from the
process of obtaining or maintaining any immigration status, granting awards up to $500 per student (students are not required to request the full amount).
These funds are intended to bypass any current fees or balances listed on MyUNLV and will be provided as a direct deposit.
This application is open year long, however, this pool of funding is first-come, first-served based on eligibility requirements.
Students are eligible to receive funding once every academic year.
In order to be eligible, an applicant:
- Must be a current undergraduate student at UNLV
- Must be actively enrolled at UNLV (If requesting during the summer term, the student must be enrolled in classes for the summer or in the upcoming Fall semester)
- Must have any immigration status (including undocumented, non-resident, etc.) outside of being considered a "U.S. Citizen"
Please note that
this sponsorship does not cover DACA renewal fees. For assistance with DACA Renewals please look into our
CSUN DACA Renewal Sponsorship. For any questions regarding the difference in funding please reach out to nayelli.ricolopez@unlv.edu.
All DACA and undocumented students are still eligible to apply in order to cover costs associated with immigration and naturalization.
Applications are reviewed at the end of every week. Please allow for 2-5 business day for the review of the application. You will receive a Notification Email with the decision shortly thereafter.
