Peer Support, Informal, casual support group conversations aimed to build support and community. This is strictly for South Asian QTLGBT+ affirming safe space.
Open to all US/Canada only.
This support group is NOT recorded and content shared is not guaranteed to be kept confidential. Share what you feel are comfortable with. Confidentiality is not guaranteed and every effort will be taken to secure the virtual hangout.

~ English is the desired language of the conversation to be inclusive of all.
~Respect the facilitator and follow their structure as outlined.
~ This is NOT a professional therapy group. Any advice or share needs to taken as informal.
~A topic of discussion might be picked by the group, have one or two you wish to discuss.
~As you arrive, introduce yourself in the zoom chat.
~Do not take up too much space, give space and take space.
~On video calls, it is appreciated to turn on your video for the comfort of the group.
~ Keep the conversation positive and objective.
~Give Trigger Warnings where needed. Limit Shares to LGBTQ+ topics/issues
~Speak for yourself, share your experience (use “I” statements, check using “we”)
~During COVID-19, be aware of shares around facts, advice and updates around pandemic.
~Practice respect; use pronouns, and when in doubt, use "they"
~No confrontations, arguments please…lets support each other.
~Share good south Asian recipes, dance moves and anything else.
