Math Circle Student Registration Form (2021 - 2022)
Welcome to the TAMU Math Circle!   In order for a student to participate, a parent or guardian must fill out the form below and pay the registration fee discussed below.

Due to university regulations, there must be at least two adults in each Zoom room at all times.  Since we prefer to use small breakout rooms to facilitate our activities, this means that we need a large number of adults to supervise students during the activities. So we are looking for parents who can volunteer to help.  Mathematics experience is NOT required.  We simply need adults to observe the activities and report any problems to Math Circle staff.  If you can volunteer as an observer, please mark the appropriate questions at the end of this form.  Thank you!

Instructions for Registration Fee Payment:

1.)  The regular registration fee is $100 for the Fall 2021/Spring 2022 semesters.  Registration fee is the same if student will attend just Discovery Learning, just Problem Solving, or both.  We encourage all to try both!

2.)  Payments may be made at the TAMU MarketPlace operated by TouchNet at:  https://secure.touchnet.com/C21490_ustores/web/product_detail.jsp?PRODUCTID=8960

3.)  This covers the (regular, reduced, waived or extra) registration fee.  Registration fees are primarily used to pay salaries, but if they not used up during Math Circle, they will be used for other outreach activities during the year.

4.)  If your child is on the National School Lunch Program, parents are out of work due to COVID-19, or the fee will impose any undue hardship, the fee may be reduced or waived.  Please contact Dr. Philip Yasskin <yasskin@math.tamu.edu> or at 979-574-1697.  In this case,  Dr. Yasskin will give you a Promotional Code to enter at the bottom of page 3 of the MarketPlace (the My Cart page). Please fill out the TAMU MarketPlace form even if your fees have been waived.

5.)  If you can afford to pay more, we would greatly appreciate an Optional Additional Registration Fee to help pay for a student who cannot afford it. This can be done at the top of page 2 of the  MarketPlace.

6.)  At the bottom of page 2 of the MarketPlace you will need to enter the Registration Code which is:
                   TAMU-MATH-CIRCLE-2021        (Case Sensitive)

7.)  On page 4 of the MarketPlace, (the Delivery Address page) you do NOT need to login or register. Just enter your email (again) and click on Checkout as Guest.
