There have been millions of deaths and recoveries worldwide from COVID-19. If we work together and learn from worldwide data on the pandemic, we can prevent/manage/exit the next pandemic in the Netherlands.

From June 24th - 27th, we are empowering the Artificial Intelligence and Medical community of NL to hack the COVID-19 crisis together and to advise Dutch policy makers. Using machine learning techniques, students and experts are invited to explore a worldwide data set of COVID-19 hospitalizations, policy decisions, and more to find patterns that can hack our crisis. Beyond discovering new challenges from the data, you will be tasked with translating your findings into potential solutions for the Netherlands.

This event is open to all students, staff, post - doctoral researchers, and professors interested in machine learning and healthcare.

To organize this event, we are collaborating with the study association for computer science & AI Cover, IFMSA-Groningen (International Federation of Medical Students’ Association), and DASH from the UMCG.
