Hope everyone has had a wonderful and productive summer. Let’s kick off our Autumn quarter right with a round of mini golf at Golfland USA in Sunnyvale! No prior experience needed. Just come, destress from the first wave p-sets and papers this quarter, and have some fun socializing with your fellow graduate students!

To make things a little more interesting, the person with the best score (i.e. most strokes under par) will receive the biggest, thickest, and most calorie dense milkshake I’ve ever seen (sold at golfland)! Hope to see y’all there ready to compete.

This event is capped at 10 people, and if the demand is high a lottery will be performed. I will send out the confirmation emails Friday Morning (Oct 4). Please note that we will be carpooling to Sunnyvale. It’s about a 20-minute drive away from campus. Please indicate on the signup form if you are willing to offer other student rides.
