▧ Cheney Wang, Taiwan GM & VP of Supply Chain at Latch

Cheney Wang was Latch’s 1st team member in Taiwan who joined in 2016 (NASDAQ: LTCH). He is currently the Taiwan General Manager and VP of Supply Chain at Latch, whose mission is to make spaces better places to live, work and visit through its full-building operation system. Founded in 2014 and became a unicorn / went public in 2021, Latch is in more than 1 in 10 new apartments in the U.S., with 7 out of 10 NMHC largest developers being its customers.

Prior to Latch, Cheney founded DMO to facilitate cross-border opportunities for tech companies on BD/Market research & manufacturing strategy. He was previously Head of Product Innovation at Philips in China, with a decade of experience as a tech executive in the display industry in product marketing, fulfillment operations, supply chain management and system architect.

He holds B.S. Electrical and Computer Engineering degree from Carnegie Mellon University and graduated with University Honor.


▧ Christine Tsai, CEO and Founding Partner at 500 Global

Christine Tsai is the CEO and Founding Partner of 500 Global. Since the firm’s inception in 2010, she has led the growth of 500 to over $1.8B in AUM, 2,500+ portfolio companies, and a vibrant community of founders spanning more than 78 countries around the world. The 500 Global portfolio includes companies like Talkdesk, Canva, Grab, Bukalapak, Lucidchart, Intercom, Gitlab, Credit Karma (acq’d by Intuit), Twilio (TWLO), TheRealReal (REAL), and SendGrid (SEND).

Christine has spent her entire professional career building and investing in Silicon Valley. From 2003 to 2010, Christine held product marketing and operating roles at Google, including monetization and developer products such as Google AdSense, Google Analytics, YouTube APIs and syndication, and Google Developer Platform Tools.

Christine holds a B.A. in Cognitive Science from the University of California at Berkeley and was a National Merit Scholar.


▧ Richard Koo, Principal at DNX Venture Partners

Richard is a Principal with DNX (formally known as Draper Nexus), an early-stage US-Japan venture capital fund. Richard focuses on the fund’s investments in retail, e-commerce, logistics, and fintech. In addition to investing, Richard is also heavily involved in cross-border business and corporate development, advising U.S. and European-based technology companies on how to establish a presence in Japan.

He was previously a Consultant with Deloitte and holds an M.B.A in Entrepreneurial Management from Wharton and a B.S. from Georgetown University's School of Foreign Service.

Casey Lau is the co-host of RISE, "the largest tech gathering in Asia" as part of the Web Summit family of global conferences. He is an authority on startup ecosystems and social media networks and has interviewed some of the world's biggest CEOs and tech founders.

Casey Lau is one of Asia's foremost tech startup pioneers. Born and raised in Canada, it was in Hong Kong that he had a successful e-commerce exit during the dotcom era. He went on to co-found the biggest startup community in Asia StartupsHK — re-branded as StartupsGBA to cover Hong Kong and encompass the entire Greater Bay Area of China. He has spent the past decade building startup ecosystems across Asia working with governments, corporations and investors.
