The Institute for Sustainable Development (
https://www.isdus.org/), as a part of the Together for LA Collaborative, or TFLA (
https://www.laedc.org/coronavirus/), is calling for LA university students and cinematic artists to submit videos telling the COVID-19 stories of local small businesses.
This form is for submitting videos that do not fit the guidelines listed for our separate Together for LA Video Competition. Please see the full competition rules and guidelines here:
https://www.isdus.org/together-for-la.
Students are encouraged to interview and collect footage from small businesses in LA City and/or LA County, specifically those that are women- and diverse-owned, on their experiences during the COVID-19 pandemic, such as their successes, struggles, responses, and solutions.
Students are encouraged to work in teams or individually.
Video submissions must be in mp4 format.
Non-English submissions are welcome, though English subtitles are required.
These videos will be accepted on a rolling basis until May 1, 2022.
For more information or to submit questions and concerns, please contact
togetherforla@isdus.org with the subject line "TFLA Videos."
