The Institute for Sustainable Development (
https://www.isdus.org/), as a part of the Together for LA Collaborative, or TFLA (
https://www.laedc.org/coronavirus/), is calling for LA university students and cinematic artists to submit videos telling the COVID-19 stories of local small businesses.
Students are encouraged to interview and collect footage from 1-5 small businesses in LA City and/or LA County, specifically those that are women- and diverse-owned, on their experiences during the COVID-19 pandemic, such as their successes, struggles, responses, and solutions. Please see the full competition rules and guidelines here:
https://www.isdus.org/together-for-la.
Students can work in teams or individually, but only one submission per team lead is permitted.
Video submissions are limited to 2-4 minutes and must be in mp4 format.
Non-English submissions are welcome, though English subtitles are required.
Deadline: May 1, 2022, by 5 PM EST
