This spring scholastic tournament is welcoming all K-12 chess enthusiasts. 

Chess sets and clocks are provided. 

 
Format: 4 Round Swiss, no elimination, 1 half-point bye allowed if declared before round 1. Games are USCF-rated for K12 Open, U900, U600, U300 sections which require current US Chess membership. Games are not USCF rated in Nonrated section which does not require US Chess membership. 

Time Control: G30, d5  
Round Times: 11 am then ASAP
Sections: K-12 Open, K-12 U900, K-8 U600, K-6 U300, Nonrated

Awards: trophies for anyone scoring 2.5 out of 4 in each section. Medals for all. 

Entry Fee: $30 before May 13th, then $40 until May 17th, $50 on site. Refund is promised if withdrawal before round 1 starts. On site cash ONLY. We don't accept credit cards.
