Non-fiction Just Right Conversations
Which group can get the most participants to submit to the non-fiction challenge.

1. Answer questions about a non-fiction book you read in your reading range (anytime this winter through February). Ask about reading range/just right books in the library.

2. K-2, may submit a drawing to tell the facts about the book and add an emoji rating . (Turn in drawings to the library). Electronic responses are great too of course (adult help is approved).  Only do 1, the drawing or submit online (Nearpod options may be available TBA).

3. 3rd-8th and Staff , submit your book and chat response below.

4. Check your group progress in front of the library (competing group categories: K-2, 3-5, and 6-8). The winning group will be selected by the number of participants (although # of books will be recognized).

By submitting, participants are entered into a drawing for Chick-fil-a, pizza, or other with a friend.  Students may forgo the drawing entry and select a small prize from the library  (bookmark/stickers/treasure box item) or teacher pass as approved individually (homework pass, library class period pass for virtual field trip/other, etc.).

 I - I (recommend) or (do not recommend) this book. Why?

P - Purpose - Why did you want to read this book?

I - Interest - Did the book interest you? Why or why not?

C - Comprehend - Did you understand what you
read?  Why or why not?

K - Know - Did you know most of the words and what test did/could you use beforehand? Explain.
