Good Afternoon FES Families,

FES is excited to announce that we will be offering Summer Accelerated Learning Program again (through our ESSER grant) this summer for Frenchtown Elementary School students at no cost.  We will offer academic reinforcement activities in both Language Arts and Math. This program will run two sessions (Monday-Thursday except week 1 which will be Wednesday-Friday) from July 5- July 13 (7 days) and July 17-July 27 (8 days).  

This is a parent-choice opportunity, or your child may be encouraged/recommended to attend by their teacher, and all sessions will be in-person only.  We are excited to have Ms. Siock, Ms. Shurts, and Ms. Billmann back on our teaching team!  

Your child will be assigned to one of the 90-minute sessions daily from either 8:45 am-10:15 am or 10:30 am-12:00 pm depending on sign-up totals.  Your child is welcome to sign-up for both sessions, however, the time may be different in the first two-week session versus the 2nd two-week session.

Once we receive your response of interest on the form below, we will send home a hard copy permission slip form to complete the sign-up process.

Please complete this form regarding your student(s) interest and return it to your child’s homeroom teacher no later than Friday, April 21, 2023.  All hard copy permission slips will be due by Monday, May 1st.  Our goal is to be able to confirm your student(s) registration and assign your child to a specific time/session by June 2nd.

*Disruptive behavior will not be tolerated during this academic opportunity.  If your child is involved in such an event, they will be dismissed from the program.
