The CHANGEMAKER TO AUTHOR MASTERMIND: The program to help aspiring nonfiction authors get the support, skills, knowledge + resources they need to publish their book.
The Details:
This is a 16 (ish) week immersive experience (starting April 23rd) to help you get the support, skills, knowledge + resources you need so that you can have the confidence to go out and share your book with the world.
What to Expect:
Thoughtful Guidance: Led by Ashley K. Stoyanov Ojeda, the best-selling author of Jefa in Training and multicultural business strategist.
Diverse Sessions: The program will be made up of rich blend of workshops, enlightening panels of publishing industry professionals + best-selling authors, collaborative co-working sessions, and dynamic group brainstorming sessions.
Comprehensive Topics: We’ll cover crucial aspects like defining your book idea, navigating the world of publishers and agents, crafting a compelling book proposal, building a robust author platform, creating a successful launch plan, and getting paid as an author, among other key insights.
A Community of Like-Minded Changemakers: The group will have a maximum of 10 participants who will be encouraged to collaborate throughout the process. If you’ve been looking for support throughout this new chapter of your journey, this is a great way to find your people!
Key Program Details:
Suitable for Traditional Publishing: Ideal for authors aspiring to publish through traditional channels (considering a few topics might not be applicable to the self/hybrid publishing model).
Meeting Schedule: The 1-2hr group sessions will be approximately twice a month, on Tuesdays between 4 PM PST and 6 PM PST, tentatively starting April 23rd, with additional sessions on May 7th, May 21st, June 4th, June 18th, July 2nd, July 16th and July 30th. The sessions will be live on Zoom and will be recorded and shared with the group.
Personalized Attention: Up to 3 hours of personalized one-on-one time with me, throughout the program
A Group WhatsApp thread for support throughout the program from peers and the facilitator.
The Investment:
$2500 if you apply by May 6th. Extended payment plans and partial scholarships are available.
