Programme Highlights
Engineers always need to solve complex problems in limited time and resources. Hence, anxiety, depression and other mental health issues may often occur. In addition, due to the outbreak COVID-19 pandemic and social movement, relationships between people becomes even more alienated. Without emotional management, the buildup of distress could have alarming consequences to an individual, which causes difficulties to manage other things in life.
This workshop aims to enable participants to have a better appreciation of their psychological and mental health. A social worker is invited to introduce the commonly faced mental health problems and how to cope with them, followed by a sharing session of a patient recovered from depression.
