What is this all about, anyway?
The last few years have been pretty rough for a lot of us, and some of us have regained unwanted weight, or dropped some of our healthy habits, including me.
After a few personal conversations about this with people, it seems like a little extra support for re-losing weight and/or regaining habits might be helpful for several of us. So I’ll run a challenge for that. Anyone is welcome.
The object will be to keep our weight under 103% of the starting number, with additional brownie points for losing any of it. This isn’t a race to see who can lose the fastest, but rather a way to help us get back into a groove.
Because all of this is about self care, the most important component is acknowledging and reinforcing the positive things we are doing for our health and sanity.
There aren’t any rigid requirements; just try to check in once a week or so. If you skip a week, no big deal. If you want to check in more often, go right ahead. If you want to hop in midway through, that’s fine too. The more, the merrier!
