Maker Swap Jr. Edition
Thanks for joining the Maker Swap Jr. on Litsy.  Matches will be made between May 1 and May 15.

Open date is July 4, 2019.

This is a long swap in order to give makers time to complete projects, and for School to be out of session.   (Please be aware that some schools go year around, have track systems, or don't get out til mid to late June).

Kids of any age can participate, including forever kids. If your kids age/grade does not appear below, please use "other" and fill out the information in the end.

This is a random match swap.  For the most part makers will receive from someone different than they send.

This swap will adhere to all the rules of the LitsySwaps page.  All Rules are below.

*Each registered jr. member will make something for their match.  It can be anything.  What do you like to do?
-Price spent on project is determined by the parent of the creator (or the creator themselves) and is dependent on supplies on hand and what may need to be purchased.
*Each registered member will include something for their match to make.  If it requires something besides standard school or household supplies (i.e. scissors, glue, tape, iron, etc), that should be included as well.  DIY kids kits are awesome for this type of thing, but not mandatory.
*Each registered member will include a book that completes the package

An example:
-The Maker Jr paints a pre-made bird house. They send a "Make your own stuffed Owl" kit.  And they send the book Hoot by Carl Hiassen

LitsySwaps Rules (non-negotiable)

1. Be accountable for the swap if you sign up for it.
2. Items do not have to be new, but should be in clean condition and working order.
3. Packages must be received on time for the group opening day.  Plan your making and shipping accordingly.  (For this swap all packages should be sent by Cyber Monday!)
4. Post to Litsy when you have mailed your package, received your packages, and opened your package.
5. Abide by the rules of the specific swap
6. Rude and disrespectful behavior will not be tolerated. Aggression or not sending a package is never okay.
7.  Communication is key.  Please respond to the host and check email regularly for updates.  Keep in touch though email or posts, especially if unforeseen circumstances arise.

Be sure to label all packages #MakerSwapJr and @ (your or the Parent's Litsy Handle).  Also be sure to use the #MakerSwap and tag @LibrarianRyan in any swap related Litsy Posts.

Thanks for participating.  I can't wait to see what everyone makes.  I will be sending regular emails or making regular posts after sign ups to check on everyone's projects and be the cheerleader we all sometimes need.
