South Forsyth HOSA Event Registration 2019-2020
***MUST READ***
This Google Form is for South Forsyth HOSA Members to register for their events. DO NOT SIGN UP FOR AN EVENT IF YOU HAVE NOT PAID MEMBERSHIP DUES.

To access competitive events guidelines please visit http://www.hosa.org/guidelines. The guidelines will give you an overview of all the different events and specific study tools.

Any event with a (T) is a Testing Event. Any event with a (C) is a Case-Study Event (which includes both Testing and Presentation). Any event with a (P) is a Presentation Event. Presentation events and certain Case-Study events have a limit of 2 Teams. Almost all testing events are individual, while most Case-Study Events and some Presentation Events allow a group of members to collaborate. Make sure to choose your 1st Choice Event along with 2 other events you are also interested in, ONE OF WHICH MUST BE TESTING. Keep in mind, everyone is only allowed to compete in one event, the other 2 events you choose are for us to put you in if your 1st/2nd Choice Event were to fill up. In regards to team members, you must put the team members' names in the order specified in the Google Form and each team member must fill out their own Google Form.

Some events are limited per school, so you may have to do a proposal. Instead of like last year where we did written proposals, we will be doing verbal proposals. Your proposal must consist of a paragraph detailing and describing your proposed project/presentation. If you pick an event as one of your three choices that requires a proposal be prepared to perform one in the upcoming weeks, date TBD. If you are choosing another presentation event as a backup, you must also be prepared to do a proposal for that event as well.  This will be used to determine who is best to represent us in this chapter for the respective event. If a testing event is your top choice, you will get that testing event.

The following events require a proposal: https://docs.google.com/document/d/1lsMXBj_mMrhTMXfiq0vWJxglpyCgEUDY01H-q9Q0SIE/edit?usp=sharing

Through the week of September 23rd to September 27th, we will be doing competitive event sessions during FLEX time in either Mrs. Collins or Mrs. Clendenen's rooms. More details will be sent out in the coming week

Competitive Event Signups are due on October 5th.
