HOW IT WORKS

This year, we're doing Weekly Reading & Activity Challenges!

Each Monday, beginning June 1, we will release a weekly themed challenge on social media and the children’s page of our website. https://htlibrary.org/children/ (We are on Facebook, Instagram, LinkedIn, and Twitter).

Complete the weekly challenge activities, which will include reading time and a couple other fun things, and then submit the online form.

For each weekly challenge completed, you'll receive a collectible brag tag, a vote for a charity donation, and an entry into our end-of-summer prize raffle. Try to collect all the brag tags to wear and show off on your lanyard necklace! You may to choose pick up your lanyard and brag tags at the library when we re-open, or have them mailed to your house.

And...if you attend the school with the largest percentage of students participating, you'll receive the special "My School Rocked!" brag tag. So, spread the word to your classmates on Zoom, and encourage them to take part in Summer Reading, too!

Summer Reading ends on August 8, and we will do a Facebook Live drawing at 1pm on that day for gift cards to local businesses. (We have purchased gift cards this year from businesses that have generously donated to our Summer Reading Programs in the past).
