Upcycle Challenge Rules

1)  Register by May 1, 5PM  (This allows us time to make sure we have enough supplies for everyone)

2) Select your supplies at our May 4 Sale on the Trail Event (10AM-4PM at 411 East Hospital Street)

3)  Flip your items (you have 2 weeks!!)

     * Finished product can be functional or just plain FUN!

     *  Final Piece MUST be 90% materials selected on our site

     * Added materials are limited to:

            - Glue

             - Staples

              - Nails

             -  Hardware for attaching pieces

              - Paint

              - General Art Supplies (markers, glitter, stickers etc…)

               - Lights

      * Final piece must be ready to sell (you can set minimum bid)

4) Bring your item to 411 East Hospital Street at 9AM May 18 to sell

        * Items will be set up for silent auction but you are encouraged to generate public interest in your item via social media or in person communications

         * We will also have a ballot box for voting for People’s choice

          * Items will be picked up by top bidder at 4:00

           * All sales proceeds of items go to Nacogdoches Arts Collaborative

5)   Awards given for three categories:

       * People’s Choice (most votes)

        * Highest Sale Price

        * Board’s Choice for Most Creative Flip
