Laura Marcus Life-Writing Workshop 1: Process, Collaboration - and NOT Writing a Book
Friday 12 May (Week 3, TT23), 10:30am - 12:30pm
History of the Book Room, English Faculty, St Cross Building, Manor Road, OX1 3UL

The first of this term's Laura Marcus Life-Writing Workshops will be led by Professor Kirsten Shepherd-Barr, joined by Tzen Sam and Dr Lauren Cullen, who will speak on two life-writing projects that both explore female writers and employ modes that are alternative to the book-form biographies we are used to discussing:  one is a play and one is a web site. This session will emphasize process and collaboration as key to gaining insight and fresh perspectives on life-writing subjects.

Workshop places will be allocated on a first come, first served basis with priority given to members of the English Faculty. This event is only open to members of Oxford University. Places will be confirmed on Monday of 3rd Week.

Tea/coffee and cake will be served during the workshop.

This event will take place in the St Cross building on Manor Road (more information). Attendees are advised not to attend if they feel unwell and/or to use an LFT prior to the event.
