Astoria Film Festival Tickets - Student Showcase
Welcome to the Astoria Film Festival Youth Festival's Student Showcase 2024!

If your child was in one of our Filmmaking Workshops in the 2023-24 school year, then you get 2 free tickets to their screening in the Student Showcase of the festival - one for your child and one ticket for someone to accompany your child.  You only get free tickets to the screening time of your child's film. You can also get 2 free tickets to  the Media Careers Panel. Please fill out the information below to get those tickets.

Once we have this information, your names will be on the GUEST LIST AT THE DOOR OF THE ZUKOR THEATER.  You do not need a physical ticket.  Just tell us your name at the door and we will let you in.

THE ZUKOR THEATER is in KAUFMAN ASTORIA STUDIOS at 34-12 35 AVE

If you want additional tickets to your child's screening or if you want tickets to the other workshop screenings, they can be purchased at filmfreeway.com/astoriafilmfestival/tickets CLICK HERE .  All who attend need a ticket, no matter their age.

There will be Red Carpet Interviews of Students held outside the Zukor Theater, under the Kaufman Arches.  Please come a bit earlier or plan to stay a bit later if your child would like to be interviewed by our Social Media Team.

In order to participate in the festival, we need signoff on the 2 liability forms below. If under 18, we need parent signatures/digital signoff.

NOTE: If you check YES on these forms and enter your name & email, you are granting AFF the same permissions as if you were to sign and date these forms physically, in person.

If you DO NOT sign and agree with all of the information on these waivers, then we cannot provide the free tickets.

General Liability Waiver

I give permission for myself/my child to participate in all activities with ASTORIA FILM FESTIVAL. Additionally, I fully understand that I am/my child is responsible for their possessions and their actions.ASTORIA FILM FESTIVAL REQUIRES ALL PARTICIPANTS TO BE MASKED for activities.  However, as a participant in any program or class of ASTORIA FILM FESTIVAL, I recognize and acknowledge there are certain risks, and I agree to assume the full risk of injuries that I or my minor child may sustain as a result of participating in any activities connected with or associated with such program or class. I agree to waive and relinquish all claims I or my minor child may have as a result of participating in any program or class against ASTORIA FILM FESTIVAL and I relinquish all claims i or my minor child may have against the officers, agents, servants, employees, volunteers, and independent contractors of these organizations as well. I further agree to indemnify and hold harmless and defend ASTORIA FILM FESTIVAL and its officers, agents, servants, volunteers, employees and independent contractors from my claims resulting from injuries sustained by me or my minor child that arise out of, in connection with, or in any way associated with the activities of this program. I HAVE READ AND FULLY UNDERSTAND THE ABOVE WAIVER AND RELEASE ALL CLAIMS.

Media Waiver

I hereby permit the use of my/my child’s image to be photographed, videotaped or

otherwise recorded for use in ASTORIA FILM FESTIVAL publicity, promotional or educational materials, including, but not limited to, films, videos, websites, newsletters, brochures and various other publications, and on the ASTORIA FILM FESTIVAL internet webpage and social media platforms (Instagram, Facebook, Vimeo, YouTube, Tikok, and others that may become used over time.) I understand that I will receive no monetary payment or other compensation in exchange for the rights to use my/ my child’s media at ASTORIA FILM FESTIVAL.
