Hello movers. Welcome to our Updated program! In addition to the advanced high school classes, We are now opening intensive master classes for Adults, Middle school and Elementary school students. If interested, register promptly to secure your spot.

you will be Joining Alex, teacher and freelance dancer from choreographer Serena Malacco of Paris based dance company Cie Jukebox. from February 24 & 26-29. You have the option to join the intensive master classes that are most suited to you. 

Program  

High school (advanced movers) for ages 14-19 who wish to experience a variety of professional dance trainings, exploration, and dance repertoire. Exceptions for slightly younger students can made if they are advanced for their age group. 

Middle school (intermediate to advanced movers) for ages 12-14 includes the same material as the Advanced class with a more progressive approach. concepts of high level training, exploration, and repertoire broken down into steps for a deeper understanding and the ability to advance at your own pace. 

Elementary school (all levels) for ages 10-12 is a fusion of games, interactive exercises, and embodiment of movement through imagination. This master class focuses on the right set and settings to facilitate high levels of creative and instinctive movement. 

Adults (All levels) will include the basics in holistic warm up and mobility, simple partnering techniques, and exploration games. A new orientation to familiar movement, guiding exploration to feel organic and a great mix between sweating and thinking.

What to expect: Alex is an ISB Alumni and currently a Freelance dancer working with multiple companies in Europe. He will guide you through; jukebox company repertoire, a fusion of contemporary dance techniques, games and tools for improvisation and creation, feedback sessions following each class where students and instructors will share their experience. Instructors offer insights into the life of professional artists and apply this training into your own movement interests. The experience is adapted and made reachable to multiple levels and age groups, we only ask that you consider the class most suited to you for a healthy balance of challenging and achievable material. A payment link, your program itinerary, and additional information will be sent to all registered dancers prior to the workshop week. If you would like to participate in more than one session per day, this could be possible, however, Please keep in mind that, in some cases, the material and instruction may move at a different pace, for dancers to master what they have already learned or experience a more challenging course.
