AGO will have three types of student presentations this year:

Practice Presentations: These are formal presentations for finalized research, as well as practice for your DEFENSE or for JOB TALKS. The goal is improve presentation skills and develop your CV. Attendees will provide feedback on presentation organization, information, etc. Faculty can be invited if you like.
 - Can put these under Invited Presentations on your CV.

Brown Bags: These are informal presentations to workshop a research idea and get feedback early or midway through the research process. Faculty can be invited if you'd like.
 - Can put these under Campus Talks or Other Presentations, similarly less formal on your CV.

3-Minute Thesis: Similar to WSU's 3MT (https://3mt.wsu.edu/), AGO will be arranging a 3MT (or research) presentation WITH A CASH PRIZE sometime during spring semester. Our criteria will be less stringent than the university's, however. If you select this option, we'll ask if you want us to allow you to back out or not (since some people might want the firm deadline while others don't!).
 - Can put these under Conference Presentations on your CV.
