All children will receive a hot lunch meal, healthy snacks and water and engage in the same activities including  cooking, crafts, team sport and dancing. This spring there will be a special focus on healthy eating including cooking lessons with low sugar and fat content for all the children to participate in. As it is also the end of Ramadan there will be a special focus on Eid and any child fasting we will support them too. 

Attendance is through pre-registration only and is for children and young people aged 7-13 years old. Registration is for the four days for the children on free school meals.

Paying spaces are available for £25 per day with the same hours. Reduced paying places are also available for children not on free school meals but with reduced income (single parent household, ill health etc). Please contact Roots4Life directly to discuss. We recommend attending for a number of days in a row as this enables your child to build connections with the other children attending and our staff team.

There are also some limited SEND spaces for children and currently receive free school meals. Please fill in the form and Roots4Life will be in contact directly to discuss your child's needs before attending. Please note there is a lot of demand for our SEND spaces so please do only book for dates that your child is able to attend. Any child with SEND will have a delegated 1:1 adult to support their needs during the session.
