WHAT ARE FRONTIER COMMUNITIES?

Twice a year (In the fall & at the new-year), we take a 40 day season to all lean into a singular spiritual formation area together as a community... Most groups continue to meet through the season (on average 8-10x from early Sep-early Dec), but no long-term commitment necessary!

OUR FOCUS: LIVE THE STORY, TELL THE STORY // Rooted and Sent: A Rule of Life for Everyday Mission

WHY THIS THEME?
We live in a world that is both spiritually curious and deeply skeptical. People in our city aren’t closed to Jesus — but they are cautious, and many Christians feel paralyzed: unsure what to say, afraid of sounding fake, or simply exhausted from trying. The result? Silence. But Jesus invites us into a different way: not pressure or performance, but a rooted life that naturally overflows into mission.

WHY A RULE OF LIFE?
At Frontier, we’ve been building a “Rule of Life” — a sustainable framework of spiritual rhythms that form us over time into Christ’s likeness. It’s about learning to abide with God, grow in Christlike character, live in community, and join God’s mission. This fall, we’re leaning into the Mission quadrant: how faith moves outward into our work, our neighborhoods, our hospitality, our justice, and our witness.

WHY NOW?
In our secular age, what the world needs most is not shallow answers or cultural Christianity — but people whose lives are deeply rooted in Jesus and who live such a beautiful, resilient story that it cannot help but be told. When we live the story, we will naturally tell the story.

This fall, our groups will explore together how to:

• See vocation as sacred calling.

• Practice everyday hospitality that heals.

• Engage in justice as a fruit of real faith.

• Share the gospel with courage and kindness.

• Live a rooted life that overflows in praise and witness.
