We Make the Road by Walking: Advancing a Health Equity Movement

The U-M School of Public Health, MSHIELD, RacismLab, the U-M School of Pharmacy, the U-M Institute for Healthcare Policy & Innovation, the Office of the Vice President for Research, and the NCID's Anti-Racism Collaborative are proud to present a day-long symposium on equity, anti-racism and the health sciences.

The events will all take place on Tuesday, April 2, at the Palmer Commons Great Lakes Room (4th Floor). You are welcome to register for all three events throughout the day or to choose which sessions best suit your interests and schedule. 

REGISTRATION IS REQUIRED FOR ALL IN PERSON ATTENDEES. PRINTED NAME TAG WILL BE PROVIDED TO REGISTRANTS WHO SIGN UP BEFORE FRIDAY, MARCH 29 AT 10AM. (THERE WILL BE ADDITIONAL NAME TAGS AVAILABLE ON SITE)

10:00 - 11:30 am ET: Interactive Session hosted by MSHIELD

11:30 am - 1:00 pm ET: Lunch break

1:00 - 2:30 pm ET: Keynote conversation featuring Dr. Camara Phyllis Jones and Dr. Chandra Ford

2:30 - 3:00 pm ET: Refreshment break

3:00 - 4:30 pm ET: Interactive Session hosted by RacismLab
