We are so happy that Licketyspit has secured some funding to bring back LicketyMums starting this September!

LicketyMums was established in 2021 to support parents through the Pandemic, primarily focussed on digital support. Many participants expressed a desire to become more directly involved in the hosting aspects of Storyplay events like Porridge & Play.

We call the volunteers who assist in this way Storyplay Champions – volunteers who have received training in the key expert areas of the company’s work –  facilitating imaginary play, event planning, cooking and providing the food element to projects.

This year, Lickety Mums will offer you the chance to build your skills and knowledge in organising, facilitating and delivering community Storyplay events for your family and friends! The training sessions will run alongside planned Storyplay sessions around Glasgow, where you can put your skills into practice!
