The Health & Safety at Work Act 1974 (HASAWA74)

It is condition of entry into the exhibition that every exhibitor, contractor, sub-contractor, supplier and their agents comply with the HASAWA 74 and all other legislation covering the venue. The Exhibitor accepts that it is their legal and moral responsibility to ensure that their own and other’s Health & Safety is not put at risk by their actions (or ‘inactions’) throughout the tenancy.

It is a condition of the Terms & Conditions of exhibiting at the Museums + Heritage Show that all Exhibitors and their Contractors must have Public Liability Insurance Cover to a minimum value of £2million, valid at the time of the Show (up to and including 16 May 2024). Hazards and risks
When selecting one of the below declarations please consider whether the set-up and operation of your stand includes risks such as:

- working at height/on ladders
- trip hazards
- electrical fixtures and fittings (other than lighting and power hired from the Show's main contractor)
- serving of food and drink
- helium or pressurised gas
- sharp objects or replicas of sharp items such as knives
- working machinery (even if static)
- heat sources
