Requirement: Need to have learned the instrument for at least two year (Audition is required for non-BLYSO member)

Event Activities: Sectional Coaching, Orchestra Group Rehearsal, Meditation, Teamwork Activities, Final Concert and more!

**  Participant Checklist, Participant Liability Waiver, Health History, and Medical Insurance Information form will be emailed to you. Please submit this package to the Information Center in Hsi Lai Temple or mail it to us at 3456 Glenmark Dr. Hacienda Hts, CA, 91745 (Attention to BLYSO, Ven Zhixing) prior to 3/23 for early bird registration and prior to May 18, 2024 for regular fee. Registration is considered complete when package and fee are submitted.  

THE FINE PRINT

If accepted to Buddha' Light Youth Symphony Orchestra (hereafter known as BLYSO) Summer Music Festival (hereafter refer to  Festival), I agree to follow the festival rules and regulations. I understand that violation of  festival rules and regulations or failure to disclose pertinent medical or psychological information may result in expulsion from the Festival, and forfeiture of any fees paid. BLYSO has a zero-tolerance policy regarding meat product, alcohol, illegal drugs, theft, weapons, and vandalism. Participants found in violation of this policy will be sent home immediately and unconditionally.

I understand that photographs may be taken during event activities and I authorize BLYSO Summer Music Festival to use these photographs for promotional materials. I also understand that by providing my e-mail address I may receive updates and information from BLYSO and that my address will not be shared or sold.

I understand that enrollment is on a first-come, first-served basis with consideration for gender balance and instrumentation and that a Participant Liability Waiver, Health History, and Medical Insurance Information Form must be completed and returned to the BLYSO (Information Center in Hsi Lai Temple) prior to arrival at the Festival. I also understand that acceptance to the Festival may be denied due to BLYSO Summer Music Festival’s inability to accommodate certain conditions, including but not limited to event capacity, instrumentation requirements, musical aptitude, or behavioral concerns. I understand that schedules are subject to change.

I have read and understand the cancellation and refund policy and that there are no refunds after April 30, 2024, regardless of when the application was received.
