Grow Well Wants to Hear from the Community
Thank you for your interest in Grow Well! This survey is part of our effort to connect with the community and learn more about what's important to our neighbors when it comes to food justice. We are a network of gardeners, farmers, nonprofit workers, and other Kingston residents who believe that all folks in our community have the right to healthy, fresh, local food and deserve equitable access to nature and gardening. But we know we cannot move forward without input from and the assistance of the community.

Your answers to the following questions will help us understand a bit about who you are, what your hopes and dreams are around food justice in the community, and how to contact you. It will also help you understand a bit about what the group is currently focused on and will allow you to choose how you'd like to participate in this work.

The survey should take approximately 10-15 minutes to complete. At the end, there is a section for comments and questions from you.

We appreciate you taking the time to share information that will inform the important work that Grow Well is doing. And, we look forward to working alongside you.

About Grow Well: Grow Well Kingston is a collective of organizations and individuals that support Kingston residents' right and ability to grow plants for food, medicine, natural habitat, and beauty, and raise animals for food by supporting projects that provide knowledge, growing spaces, and resources. The group started during the COVID-19 shut down in response to concerns about access to abundant and healthy food during the pandemic.

Since coming together in April 2020, Grow Well has initiated a garden bed project that installed thirty-five 4’x8’ beds and provided soil, plants, and mentoring in the community during the summer of 2020. The project was implemented by the youth employed at the Kingston YMCA Farm Project, their farm staff, other organizations, and their volunteers.
