Online Meet Sanction Application & Statement of Awards
Application for holding a USA Swimming sanctioned meet in South Dakota and statement of awards. In addition to filling out this document, teams need to mail a check for $25 to the sanction coordinator, fill in the meet invite template and email it to the sanction coordinator (sanctions@sdswimming.org). Reminder: payment, invite template, and this form are to be submitted no later than 60 days prior to the first day of your meet. Late sanctions received less than 45 days prior to the meet are subject to a $100 fine.

In typing your name below, you understand and agree to the following: A Meet Reconciliation Report must be emailed by Monday prior to the meet, to verify that all swimmers have a current USA Swimming registration, to the Membership/Registration Coordinator, Misty Trewhella (registration@sdswimming.org). A Post-Meet Reconciliation Report must be submitted within 1 week after the meet, to the Membership/Registration Coordinator or a fine of $50.00 will be imposed. Furthermore, in accordance with USA Swimming Rule 202.4.8: “In granting this sanction it is understood and agreed that USA Swimming shall be free from any liabilities or claims for damages arising by reason of injuries to anyone during the conduct of the event.” Please send a check made out to SD Swimming for $25 to the LSC Sanction Chairperson: Cassi Pietz, 804 E 12th St., Yankton, SD 57078. This fee includes any timed trials during the same meet. This is for any hosted meets that include entry fees.
