Thank you for your interest in becoming a School of Code Mentor.  It's a great thing to offer your time and expertise to help someone else on their journey into tech and we really appreciate it.

Here at School of Code we want to give more and different kinds of people the opportunity to get into tech. It's a team effort between us and the community and an important part of the process is our Mentoring Program.

Each bootcamper gets paired up with a mentor from within the industry. This gives the bootcamper a perspective on what working in tech is really like, as well as someone to guide them as they navigate through the content of the course.

The regional bootcamps will be full stack courses, starting on Monday 15th November.  We ask that mentors meet up with their bootcamper for a minimum of 30 minutes each week, until the course ends on the 11th March 2022.  If this is your first time mentoring, we will help you scope out the relationship and how it works, so don't worry you will be supported every step of the way.
