Farm to School Open House for Educators
The Wylde Center invites all Educators to our Oakhurst Garden (435 Oakview Rd. Decatur, GA 30030)  for a Farm to School Open House on Wednesday, October 19th from 3:30-5:30pm.  This gathering serves as a celebration to those who have partnered with us over the years and as a welcoming Educators who are new to Wylde Center programming.

Stop by for refreshments, cooking demonstrations from FoodCorps Service Members, garden tours, information about our Field Trips and In-School Program, opportunities to speak with school and community gardeners, and even a raffle to win a free Field Trip for one grade level at your school!

This event is free and open to any Educator that is interested in hosting Farm to School programming or has partnered with the Wylde Center in the past. RSVP is reccomended to help us plan for the amount of refreshments and staff. We hope to see you there!

Garden tours will be led by a Wylde Center Educator who guide you through our Oakhurst Garden, show how certain areas are used in Field Trips, offer ideas for outdoor education, and share fun facts about the garden. There is limited space in each tour, so please sign-up in advance. Walk-ups options may be available on a first come, first serve basis.
