LHS - Early High School 2024-25 Application
Thank you for applying to the Early High School Program at Littleton High School.

This application process has three parts.  

Part 1 is this online form.  It includes a parent statement of support that may be up to 500 words.

Part 2 is a packet that you will assemble which includes your academic records  (transcript, current grades, test scores, IEP/504, and behavioral record) and your hand-written, student statement.  The student statement should include: 3 words to describe yourself, why you would like to come to Early High School, how you can contribute to our program, and any challenges you see participating in Early High School. You must mail or deliver your Part 2 paperwork to Littleton High School, attn. Early High School.

Part 3 consists of three references from your core teaches (math, science, social studies, and language arts):  You will give us their information in this form. We strongly suggest that one of your references come from a math teacher. After we send them the link, those three educators will complete an online form and submit it directly to the Early High School Program. Those recommendations are confidential and you will not see them. Please allow your references adequate time to complete their part of the process.  

Your application will be complete when all three parts have been received at Littleton High School.

Think about your student and tell us two things in 500 words or less:

How do you know (or think you know) that your student is academically ready for an accelerated program of studies, taught by high school teachers, alongside high school students?  

How do you know (or think you know) that your student is socially ready for high school?  Remember, the Early High School program has some components that are sheltered (8th graders only) and some that are mixed.  
o Language Arts, Social Studies, Advising, and Lunch are sheltered and students do NOT have open campus.  
o Other classes, passing periods, transportation, clubs, and activities are mixed.  

Please do not write more than 500 words.  
Please submit just one parent/guardian statement per student.

Each student must submit THREE educator references. We highly advise that one of these teachers be a math teacher. These confidential electronic recommendations will be submitted directly to Littleton High School and will not be shared with students or parents.

Other than regular high school bus routes inside Littleton Public Schools, transportation will not be provided for this program. Parents/guardians, please sign to indicate that you understand that if your student cannot walk or ride an existing LPS bus to Littleton High School, you will be responsible for transportation to and from school. Marking NO indicates that your application will not be processed.
